PRIN SUFLET TRECEA O LUMINĂ ALBASTRĂ

Prin suflet trecea o lumină albastră;

unde se ducea? unde se ducea?

fluturii inimii se izbeau de fereastră,

căutându-te-nfiorați , draga mea

Un sfârșit e un nou început,

îngerii își cereau dreptul la fericire,

îngropasem întregul trecut,

numai noi pe pământ, mistuiți de iubire

Hai cu mine în vis! Hai cu mine

să ne pierdem unul în altul!

Numai zbor de la mine la tine,

să umplem cu iubire neantul!

Lumina nicicând mai albastră,

a pus stăpânire pe sufletul meu,

timpul a sărit pe fereastră,

de jur împrejur Dumnezeu...

A blue light passed through my soul;

the heart’s butterflies struck the window,
searching for you, trembling, my darling.

I had buried the entire past,
only we remained on Earth, consumed by love.

The light, never more blue than now,
took hold of my soul completely,
time leapt out the window,
all around—only God, infinitely.
