Dacă ești atât de puternic încât să poți iubi,

nicio furtună nu te poate frânge,

vei fi tu însuți până în ultima zi,

și când vei râde și când vei plânge

Dacă nu vrei să mori niciodată,

să-ți strige numele copacii pe pământ,

fii om ce-mprăștie iubirea adevărată

și-n înserare fii adiere de vânt

Dacă vrei să simți zborul în suflet

fii pasăre când lumina tresare,

fii poem, fii iubire, fii cântec,

fii stăpânul inimii, fii stăpân peste zare

Dacă vrei să privești cât mai departe,

înalță-te cât mai sus, către stele,

să nu-ți fie teamă de moarte,

mergi pe drumul tău, nu pe urmele mele...

IF YOU ARE STRONG ENOUGH TO LOVE

If you are strong enough to truly love,

let the trees of the earth call out your name,
be one who scatters true love
and at dusk, be the whisper of the wind.

If you want to feel the flight within your soul,

be a poem, be love, be a song,
be the master of the heart, the master of the horizon.

If you want to see as far as you can,
rise as high as you can, toward the stars,
fear not the shadow of death,
walk your own path, not in my footsteps.
